ALLERPRIM® Syrup is used for symptomatic treatment of allergic reactions: Allergic rhinitis, conjunctivitis, and urticaria.
ALLERPRIM® Syrup:
- Mequitazine ……………………. 50mg
- Excipients: q.s.f ………………………… 100ml
In all cases, you must comply with your doctor’s prescription.
Dosage:
- The usual dose is 2.5 ml per 5 kg of weight per day.
- The daily dose will be divided into 1 or 2 times per day.
Mode of administration: Oral route.
STORAGE: Store below 30oC. Protect from light, heat and humidity.
Neuro-vegetative:
- Sedation or drowsiness, at the beginning of treatment,
- Dryness of the mouth, constipation, blurring vision, mydriasis, palpitation, risk of the urinary retention,
- Mental confusion, hallucinations, particularly for old patient.
Hypersensitivity reaction:
- Erythema, eczema, itching, urticaria, angioneuro-edema (rarely) and anaphylactic shock.
- Inform your doctor or pharmacist about any undesirable effect which is not mentioned in this leaflet.
PREGNANCY AND BREAST-FEEDING:
- Contraindication for the first trimester of pregnancy.
- It could be prescribed if necessary for the third trimester.
- During breast-feeding, the duration of treatment should be short.
- Consult with the doctor or pharmacist for further information for the pregnancy or breast-feeding.
