KALFEN® 400mg Film-coated tablet is a medicine used for manifestation of pain and inflammation such as headache, toothache, dysmenorrhea, ankylosing spondylitis, bursitis, tenosynovitis, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It is also used for symptomatic relief of fever.
KALFEN® 400mg Film-coated tablet:
- Ibuprofen ……………………………………. 400mg

In all cases, you must strictly comply with your doctor’s prescription.
Dosage: For adult (over 15 years old): 1 tablet every 6 hours if necessary, but does not exceed 3 tablets per day.
For certain patients with osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis, the dose is higher and up to 2400 mg/day, but it is only available on prescription.
Mode of administration: Oral route. To be preferably taken during the meals.
STORAGE: Store below 30ºC. Protect from light, heat and humidity.
- Nausea, vomiting, gastralgia, headache, dizziness, skin allergy,…
- Pregnancy: During the first five months of pregnancy, this drug should be prescribed only if necessary. From the sixth month of pregnancy, the administration of this drug is contraindicated.
- Breast-feeding: Avoid the administration of this drug for breast-feeding mothers.
