Chlorhexidine digluconate

Box of one bottle of 90mL:
- Chlorhexidine digluconate ……………………. 0.09g
- Excipients : q.s.f ……………………………… 90 mL
Box of one bottle of 200mL:
- Chlorhexidine digluconate ……………………… 0.1g
- Excipients : q.s.f ……………………………. 100 mL
Adult and child 6 years of age and older:
Rinse mouth with 15-30 mL of SEPTYL® for 30 seconds, 2-3 times per day, after meals. If you brush your teeth, carefully rinsing your mouth with water before using SEPTYL®.
Child under 6 years old: Consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
For disinfection of removable dentures: Prepare a 1 in 3 dilution of SEPTYL®. mouthwash with water (or 10mL of SEPTYL® + 20mL of water).
STORAGE: Keep out of reach of children. Store below 30ºC. Protect from light and heat.
- Brown staining of tongue and teeth, reversible upon discontinuation of treatment.
- Risk of sensitization to one of the constituents of the solution, necessitating stopping treatment.
- Occasionally dysgeusia or burning sensation of the tongue at the beginning of treatment.
- Occasionally desquamation of the oral mucosa.
