ALOX® Oral suspension sachet is indicated for heartburn associated with excess acid (hyperacidity) and relieves bloating and/or gas pain due to heartburn in adults (from 15 years old).
ALOX® Oral suspension sachet:
- Aluminium hydroxide …………………… 400mg
- Magnesium hydroxide ………………….. 400mg
- Simethicone ……………………………… 40mg
- Excipients: q.s.f 1 sachet of ……………… 5ml
In all cases, you must comply with your doctor’s prescription.
Dosage:
- Child under 15 years old: Ask your doctor’s advice and as directed by the prescription.
- Adult (from 15 years old): 1 to 2 sachets per dose at the time of heartburn or hyperacidity.
Do not exceed 12 sachets per day. Shake well before use. An anti-acid is usually taken only for a short time until your symptoms clear up. Do not take this medicine for longer than 2 weeks in a row without medical advice. Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve, or if they get worse while using ALOX®.
Mode of administration: Oral route.
STORAGE: Store below 30oC. Protect from light, heat, and humidity.
- Diarrhea or constipation.
- Phosphorus depletion in case of prolonged use or administered at high dose.
- Pregnancy: It should only be prescribed during the pregnancy if necessary.
- Breast-feeding: It is possible.
