DIAREAL® Sachet is used for:
- Symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhea in children and infants in addition to oral rehydration and in adults.
- Symptomatic treatment of chronic diarrhea.
- Symptomatic treatment of pain associated with oesogastroduodenal and colic problems.
DIAREAL® Sachet:
- Diosmectite …………………………………….. 3g
- Excipients: q.s.f …………………………. 1 sachet
Infant and child:
- Up to 1 year: 1 sachet per day.
- Between 1 and 2 years: 1 to 2 sachets per day.
- After 2 years: 2 to 3 sachets per day.
Adult: An average 3 sachets per day.
Mode of administration: Oral route.
The content of the sachet must be mixed in suspension directly before use.
Infant and child: The content of the sachet may be mixed in a bottle of 50 ml of water to be given during the day, or mixed with a semi-liquid food: broth, compote, puree, <<baby food>>, etc.
Adult: The content of the sachet may be mixed with half a glass of water. Preferably to be taken:
- After meals, if esophagitis,
- Between meals, for other indications.
STORAGE: Store below 30oC. Protect from light, heat, and humidity.
- Common: constipation, decrease the dosage if necessary.
- Rarely: bloating, vomiting, allergic reaction.
- PREGNANCY AND BREAST-FEEDING: Ask for your doctor or your pharmacist’s advice.
