KINAFON® Suppository is used for treatment of spasmodic pain arising from the intestine, biliary tract, bladder and uterus.
KINAFON® Suppository:
- Phloroglucinol hydrate …………………….. 150mg (equivalent to anhydrous phloroglucinol 116.7 mg)
- Trimethylphloroglucinol ……………………. 150mg
- Excipients: q.s.f ………………………… 1 suppository
Dosage:
Adult: 3 suppositories per day. 1 suppository, 3 times per day by respecting 2 hours minimum interval between each dose without exceeding 3 suppositories per 24 hours.
Mode of administration: Rectal route.
Instruction for use: With your finger, insert the suppository (pointed end first) into the rectum as far as possible. Hold it in place for a few minutes.
If the suppository is too soft to handle, freeze it in the refrigerator or hold it under cool water for 10 minutes to harden it before remove the wrapper.
STORAGE: Keep out of reach of children. Store below 30ºC. Protect from light, heat and humidity.
- Allergic reactions: rare. Risk of local irritation.
- Pregnancy: usage is possible if necessary.
- Breast-feeding: not recommended.
