BIBACTIN® Tablet is used for treatment of infections caused by sensitive micro-organisms: genitourinary tract infections, upper and lower respiratory tract infections, otitis, sinusitis, gastrointestinal tract infections, typhoid fever, Pneumocystis carinii pneumonitis.
BIBACTIN® tablet of 480 mg:

In all cases, you must strictly comply with your doctor’s prescription.
Dosage:
BIBACTIN® tablet of 480 mg:
Adult: 2 tablets, twice per day with a 12-hour interval. In case of severe infections: 3 tablets, twice per day.
BIBACTIN® FORT tablet of 960 mg:
Adult: 1 tablet, twice per day with a 12-hour interval. In case of severe infections: 1½ tablets, twice per day.
Mode of administration: Oral route.
Special cases: acute uncomplicated urinary tract infections / Pneumocystis carinii pneumonitis / renal impairment: the dose is as directed by your doctor’s prescription.
STORAGE: Store below 30ºC. Protect from light, heat and humidity.
- The most common observed: gastrointestinal disturbances (nausea, vomiting) and skin reactions (skin rash, urticaria).
