KINAL CODEINE® Capsule is a medicine used for symptomatic treatment of moderate to severe pain and/or that is not relieved by only peripherally acting analgesics such as headache, toothache, back pain, myalgia.
KINAL CODEINE® Capsule:
- Paracetamol ………………………………………. 400mg
- Caffeine ……………………………………………. 50mg
- Codeine phosphate hemihydrate ………………. 20mg
- Excipients: q.s.f …………………………………… 1 capsule
In all cases, you must strictly comply with your doctor’s prescription.
Dosage:
Adult and child from 15 years old: 1 capsules every 4 to 6 hours if necessary; and eventually up to 2 capsules in case of severe pain. Do not exceed 6 capsules per day.
Mode of administration: Oral route.
STORAGE: Store below 30ºC. Protect from light, heat and humidity.
- Certain sensitivity reactions (erythema, urticaria, skin rash) are rare. If they happened, discontinue the use of this drug.
- Constipation, nausea, vomiting, respiratory depression, palpitation.
- Pregnancy: It can be prescribed for a prompt use only if necessary.
- Breast-feeding: Certain adverse effects have been observed in breast-feeding infants whose mothers were receiving subtherapeutic dose of codeine. For precaution, in case of breast-feeding, the use of this drug is not recommended.
