RHINATOUX® Syrup is used for relieving of cold symptoms (running nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, sore throat, fever, headache, arthralgia, and muscle soreness) in children ≥3 months old.
RHINATOUX® Syrup:
- Paracetamol ……………………………… 50mg
- Dextromethorphan HBr ……………….. 2.5mg
- Phenylephrine HCl ……………………… 2.5mg
- Chlorpheniramine maleate ………… 0.436mg
- Guaifenesin ………………………… 22.665mg
- Anhydrous caffeine …………………. 6.665mg
- Excipients: q.s.f…………………. 5ml of syrup
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Dosage:
For administering every 6 hours, the instructions are as follows:
- 3 to 5 months old: 2.5ml
- 6 months to 1 year old: 3.0ml
- 1 to 2 years old: 4.0ml
- 3 to 6 years old: 5.0ml
In case of severe renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance less than 10ml/min) the interval between 2 doses should be at least 8 hours.
In children under 2 years old, this medicine should be used only on the recommendation of the doctor.
Mode of administration: Oral route.
STORAGE: Store below 30°C. Protect from light, heat and humidity.
- Neurovegetative disorders: sedation or drowsiness, more marked at the beginning of treatment, anticholinergic effects, orthostatic hypotension, motor incoordination, tremors, etc.
- Skin disorders: hypersensitivity reaction, such as erythema, eczema, etc.
- Hematological disorders: leukopenia, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, hemolytic anemia.
- Hepatobiliary disorders: hepatic dysfunction.
