WHAT IS CEFIXIME P.P.M?
This medicine is indicated in treatment of bacterial infections: certaines urogenital infections; Acute otitis and sinusitis; Bronchial and pulmonary infections.

CEFIXIME P.P.M Capsule
- Cefixime trihydrate equivalent to
cefixime.........................................................................................................................................200 mg

HOW TO USE:
RESERVED FOR CHILDREN OVER 12 YEARS OLD AND FOR ADULTS
- The recommanded usual dosage is 400 mg / day, divided into two administrations with 12 hours interval.
- To be effective, this antibiotic should be used regularly at the prescribed doses, and as long as your doctor has advised you.
- The disappearance of fever, or any other symptom, does not mean that you are completely healed.
- The possible impression of fatigue, is not due to antibiotic treatment, but to the infection itself.
- Reducing or suspending your treatment would have no effect on this impression and delay your recovery.
Mode of administration : Oral route
STORAGE : Keep out of reach of children. Store at temperature below 30o C, protect from light, heat and humidity.
SIDE EFFECTS : The following effects may occur :
- Diarrhea,
- Allergy (such as urticaria or, more rarely, angioedema, etc.),
- Effects on the digestive tract : nausea, vomiting, difficult digestion, stomach ache.
- Skin effects : Lyell syndrome, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, erythema multiforme, or drug hypersensitivity syndrome (DRESS).
- Effects on the kidneys : renal failure by interstitial nephritis.
- Effects on nerves and brain : rarely, headache and dizziness. Inform your doctor or pharmacist about any undesirable effect which is not listed in this leaflet
