Paracetamol - Phenylephrine – Chlorpheniramine
RHINAFED® Syrup:
- Paracetamol ……………………………. 100mg
- Phenylephrine hydrochloride …………. 2.5mg
- Chlorpheniramine maleate ………….. 0.33mg
- Excipients: q.s.f ……………………………. 5ml
In all cases, you must strictly comply with doctor’s prescription.
Dosage: 3 or 4 times a day.
- Child under 2 years old: ask a doctor before use.
- Child from 2 to 6 years old: 5 to 10 ml.
- Child from 7 to 12 years old: 15 ml.
- Adult: 30 ml.
Mode of administration: Oral route.
STORAGE: Store below 30°C. Protect from light, heat and humidity.
- Paracetamol is relatively nontoxic in therapeutic doses. Dermatologic reactions including pruritic maculopapular rash and urticarial have been reported rarely.
- Drug may cause mild CNS stimulation, especially in patients who are hypersensitive to the effects of sympathomimetic drugs.
- Sedative effects, varying from slight drowsiness to deep sleep may occur but may diminish after a few days.
